Visit of representatives of "Jura JSP GmbH"

On 13 February 2024, Service of Technological Security of State Documents under the Ministry of Finance (hereinafter – the Service) was attended by representatives Janos Friss and Andras Horvath from international enterprise "Jura JSP GmbH". The guests acquainted the specialists of the Service with the most advanced travel and identity documents authentication solutions and ways of protection of documents against forgery.

The newest technological solutions of the enterprise are focused on the protection of the document holder’s image, for instance, encrypting the photo of the holder with the numerical (e. g. personal identification number, date of birth) and letter (e. g. name, surname) marking. In this way, personal data as well as the document holder’s image are protected.

Encrypted invisible personal data could be easily read/verified with smartphone applications, special lens or high resolution scanners provided by “Jura JSP GmbH”. At present, such technologies are used in passports, identity cards, driving licences and other identity documents of the citizens of Austria, Sweden, Island, Slovenia, Turkey, Estonia, South Korea and other countries.
