INFORMATION ABOUT THE REGISTER OF SECURITY DOCUMENTS AND SECURITY DOCUMENT FORMS
Register of security documents and security document forms (up to 1 January 2008 – Register of securities, document blanks, tax stamps, official marking signs) was established on 1 January 2004, and its regulations were approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania under Resolution No 1648 dated 22 December 2003 (Valstybes zinios, 2003, No 122-5515; 2006, No 63‑2318; 2008, No 101-3894).
Object of the Register – security documents and security document forms. The Register’s database comprises the data on the technological security, issuance, production and forgery of security documents and security document forms.
Aim of the Register – legally based collection, storage, management, systematisation, use and supply of the data on security documents and security document forms issued in the Republic of Lithuania.
Leading managing institution of the Register is the Service of Technological Security of State Documents under the Ministry of Finance.
