New driving licence

Since December 2016, State Enterprise “Regitra“ has started issuing driving licences of updated design created by the Service of Technological Security of State Documents under the Ministry of Finance. These documents are produced by the company “Oberthur Technologies” (France) and comply with all the requirements of the European Parliament and Council directives. The new driving licence differs from the previous ones as it has a transparent window with the engraved photo of the document’s holder. This additional technological security feature will help to prevent document forgery.
